ASDC INSTRUCTORS

PAT KORN

Pat began her career while attending the University of Pennsylvania.
She received extensive initial training and then began teaching
Ballroom, Latin and Swing Dancing at Arthur Murray's. She worked in
Information Systems for several years, but continued teaching dancing
evenings and weekends due to her love of dancing. She was the instructor
for the teacher-training program for an Arthur Murray studio for three
years as well as working with private and group classes.
Since retiring from Coca-Cola, Pat is full-time as an independent
dance instructor, teaching private and group lessons in several studios
in the Atlanta area and also for several amateur dancer social groups.
Pat dances, teaches and has competed successfully in both the
American and International styles of Ballroom and Latin dances as well
as in Swing and Hustle. She was a member of the ASDC dance team and is
currently a member of the Swing Shift Dance Team.
Pat is the original member of the Atlanta Swing Dancers Club and
served as President in 1995, 2002 and 2003, and has been the club's
representative to the American Bop Association. She is Regional
Representative for the International Hustle Dance Association and also
registered with the National Dance Council of America.
Pat frequently states that her goal is to help as many people as
possible to enjoy dancing as much as she does.
